In the interest of maintaining my journalistic integrity, I have to admit that I have not heard the original version of HEALTH's "Before Tigers," but I'd be willing to bet a reasonably significant body part that it sounds virtually nothing like this remix. Canadian artist CFCF manages to make "Before Tigers" sound tropical and slinky, like something you'd want playing while you sit on a beach drinking a cocktail, watching some fox drop the cardigan from her waist and dash into the water. It's probably counter-intuitive that a band so hectic and noisy would invite so many remixes, but counter-intuitive seems like an adjective Health could get behind. [Bigstereo]
