Headlights: "Love Song For Buddy" (Video)

Here is another sweet dream pop video about death from Headlights, whose album Wildlife came out this October. Cartoon characters with slumped, pea-shaped bodies and x’s for eyes bury one of their own as lead singer Erin Fein croons that they “are all gonna die tomorrow” over sleepy piano and bells. Smudged, dark colors and bare black trees add a goth element to a song that sounds like it was written for flying kites -- a trick not unlike the one they played with the "Get Going" video.
