Hayze: "Creepmode" (Prod. Apathy) (Video) (Prefix Premiere)

There's not many better co-signs a hungry MC can earn than one from Apathy, dual Army of the Pharaohs/Demigodz badge holder and all-round underground icon. That's exactly the case for fellow Connecticut native and Man Bites Dog Records' newest signing Hayze, who today debuts the video for his beastly Apathy-produced banger, "Creepmode." Directed by Camacho, the clip features the young spitter heavy in the streets, reciting his rhymes into the lens with subtle, yet sinister, confidence.

"The visual ties into the message and theme of the song because the song is a window into my mind. I'm reflecting on the streets, myself, where I come from and the role we play in society. The video gives you a feel of my surroundings and why I am this way," explains Hayze.

"Creepmode" is the first sample of his forthcoming mixtape, The Smokers Section. If it's any representation of the rest of the record, don't be surprised if Hayze's impact will be more than just a creep in the near future.
