Whip out your poodle and your best mangina-dancing skills, it's time for a "Goodbye Horses" cover, and since the song's been popping up in fashion shows and movies in recent years, you might have to spring for a woman suit and a moth collection if we're in the midst of a revival. This version's by dirty Texas punks, Harlem, and the track sounds like everything that description entails: the duo puts some heat into the original's despondent vocals and the meandering instrumentation is a far cry from the tightly controlled production of the original. This version is also way less creepy, so your neighbors will be way less likely to suspect you of being a serial killer when they hear this coming from your room. [Fader]
