Gucci Mane: "She Be Puttin' On" f. Waka Flocka Flame

In a good turn for Brick Squad fans, we learned recently that Gucci Mane is set to be released from jail next month. Of Gucci’s many recent stints behind bars, this has been the lowest key in that he hasn’t used the time to away to build buzz by releasing a flurry of mixtapes. In fact, the mush-mouthed Atlanta rapper seemed to have lost his passion even before he went to jail, releasing some disappointing music and freaking everyone out with his ice-cream face tat. The first test of whether Gucci can get his groove back will be the release of Ferrari Boyz, his collaboration with protégé Waka Flocka Flame. Yesterday a new track from the pair, “She Be Puttin' On,” leaked, and though it’s not clear whether it will be included on the album, the song bodes well for Gucci’s future. Simply put, the guy sounds more locked in than he has in a while, rhyming “delirious” with “Fast and Furious” and telling a girl she has “curves like a Coke bottle.” Stream below. [RapRadar]
