Gucci Mane dropped a new track today entitled "Scarface." Here's the novel part of it though, it also features longtime Houston rapper Scarface, who the song is named after. Wouldn't it be cool if rappers started doing this more? Instead of putting every popular rapper under the sun on your mixtape, why not leave a few spots for some rappers who paved the way for you? Imagine if MC Hammer actually appeared on Rick Ross' "MC Hammer." Wait, that might be a terrible idea.
The solid offering features a slurring Ice Cream Man (as we've come to expect) rapping over an eerie mid-tempo beat with ghostly strings and looping piano keys. Mr. Face Mob appears half way through for a short verse that is full of that ghetto-horror inflection that he's known for a solid take on the mic.
"Scarface" will appear off Gucci's forthcoming mixtape I'm Up due out Friday. [2DopeBoyz]
