Gucci Mane: "Dangers Not A Stranger (Diplo Remix)" (MP3)

Diplo and Gucci Mane are a perfect match. They both seem to produce a never-ending flow of material which is impossible to escape. In their respective groups (rapper; DJ/producer) they are both in top form at the moment, showing no signs of letting up.

Which is why excitement is at an all-time high right now for the Free Gucci mixtape that Diplo is putting out (in protest?) through his Mad Decent label, coinciding with Gucci's album The State vs. Radric Davis, out today via Asylum/Warner Brothers, and the rapper's year-long jail sentence. The folks over at Mad Decent have posted the first track from Free Gucci, a remix of "Dangers Not A Stranger."

Some people in the comments section on the Mad Decent blog have wondered where the money from the (admittedly awesome) Free Gucci shirts and mixtape where will be going. The label claims no wrongdoing, receiving permission from Gucci and his management to put out the material. Though with reports that his management are being accused of federal fraud, they might want to check back in. Either way, the results are proving to be extraordinary.
