Gucci Mane: "Animosity" F. Yo Gotti
Even though Gucci Manemight be back behind bars, we all know full well that dude spent as much time in the studio as he did acting a fool. So it's not much of a shocker to see new tracks from him popping up online. This latest cut, "Animosity," stems from EST. in 1989, a forthcoming mixtape from producer Mike Will. It features Gucci trading verses with like-minded drug-rapper Yo Gotti, who is surprisingly in laid-back mode while his host sounds inspired flow-wise. The rest of "Animosity" might sound like contemporary trap rap-by-numbers, but it's good to hear Gucci not sleepwalk through a track for once.
