
If there were some kind of prize for the "Most Prolific Remix Artist" of the year, it's not clear that Dayve Hawk would win it, but the guy would have to be a frontrunner. As is becoming typical of Weird Tapes/Memory Tapes' work, Grum's "Heartbeats" is only barely recognizable in this remix, a ghost among the remix's glittery, glitchy rehab work. Of course, it's not as DJ-friendly as the original, but what you lose in utility with Weird Tapes, you usually get back in pretty. [Bigstereo]
