I'm not sure what the juxtaposed animal imagery in the video for Grinderman's clattering "Evil" is supposed to suggest, apart from that John Hillcoat, who directed this, can make images of a sea creature seem nearly pornographic. That or maybe fucking weird sea creatures can sort of look like tiny birds if they're given enough time to shape shift? Or that this song CAN be scarier via a video? I have no idea.
