Green Day: "Know Your Enemy" (Video)

The video for Green Day's supposedly political and thought provoking "Know Your Enemy," directed by Mathew Cullen, hit MTV and VH1 this morning. The clip takes a pretty light tone with the heavy-handed source material, with Green Day performing the song live in an outdoor setting. Sure, there's some fire and barbed wire (because the enemy got them, or something), but I was expecting a video with a picture of Bush as Hitler and lots of shots of armies and burning dollar bills. You know, political stuff.

"Know Your Enemy" is on Green Day's upcoming 21st Century Breakdown, which is due out on May 15.
