Everyone's favorite cello/guitar/drums metal trio from San Francisco has a new video out! "Song For You" is the sole short track off Grayceon's stellar debut album Grayceon (2007), and it's a visceral lil' bastard of a thrash tune. This video clip -- directed by Daniel Hague and Corine O'Hara, also known as Kill That Cat -- definitely gives visual life to the song's blood-rare chunkiness. Without giving away too much, let's just say that it explores the dark underbelly of suburban malaise in a mighty NSFW kind of way. Which is why we posted this on a Saturday morning.
In other Grayceon news, the band's cellist Jackie Perez-Gratz (also a contributor to Amber Asylum, Asunder, Giant Squid, Neurosis and others) recently completed the 1.5 mile swimming portion of the 28th Annual Alcatraz Challenge in a time of 1 hour, 1 minute and 18 seconds. Con-Gratz, Jackie!
