Instrumental rockers Grails don't make the most straightforward music in the world, so I guess it's only right that the teaser for their forthcoming 2011 album is so bizarre. I mean, it's still kind of a stretch here, what with a somber trumpet paving most of the way in this teaser video before giving way to '70s TV show soundtrack music. Now it's not entirely clear if the funky tunes within the video will show up on the album or not, but even if it does, props to Grails for taking a step in another direction. If it's not, well, I'm just confused. Entertained, for sure, but still confused.
