Have the videos and trailers for the forthcoming Grails album, Deep Politics, been crazy or what? As weird as they are, though, they have also been fitting. This is the kind of stuff that is made for soundtracks to wacky horror or thriller movies from the '70s and '80s. Perhaps that's why the band chose to put "Daughters of Bilitis," a harrowing affair, over this insane VHS footage of a woman hanging with mannequins. Well, they're just hanging out at first, but as the music builds, so does the apparent tension in the film. Oh, and there's a naked woman spinning around in a pool, too. Definitely don't watch this one at work or around judgmental loved ones.
Deep Politics is due out March 8.
