Gorillaz: "Stylo"
This lead single from Gorillaz's upcoming Plastic Beach leaked a few weeks ago to mixed reactions. "Stylo" is a fun little record, sure, especially the thick bass, danceable beat, and huge hook. But there's just too much going on, which seems to be what some critics are saying so far about the entire record. Personally, I was hoping "Stylo" would feature more from Mos Def, who only spits sporadically on here. The video is definitely nice, though, as it follows a car chase through the desert. And the cameo made toward the middle is pretty entertaining, even if he's not my favorite actor. It then all gets rather bizarre toward the end, but I won't spoil it for you.

amazing video, good song, although it could use a little more dante; that being said, the Womack resurrection is awesome.
The album as a whole is enjoyable imo, but is going to need to grow on me significantly to touch the greatness of DD or the self-titled.
I like the album, but right now I prefer their first two albums. This one might grow on me though.
this is a GREAT video. It seems it will be a To Be continued... kind of thing too with the car turning into a shark at the end of the video. Their next video will probably be them en route or on "plastic beach." Gotta love the Gorillaz.
