Gorillaz

Go Bananaz footage ft. D12, De La Soul (Exclusive Video)

Continuing with last week's build up for the Gorillaz documentary Go Bananaz , Prefix has been given the privilege of premiering two more videos from the upcoming release of the platinum-selling fictional band headed by Damon Albarn:

D12 in the studio with Gorillaz:

Once upon a time, Detroit hip-hop group/frequent Eminem and Dr. Dre collaborators D12 joined the seemingly infinite ranks of Gorillaz collaborators to work on the download only track "911." At some point in the recording sessions, a basketball game broke out. This video is that story.

Gorillaz and De La Soul, in studio, and performing "Feel Good Inc."

80s hip-hop legends De La Soul also collaborated with Gorillaz on the first single off Demon Days ; that single would eventually earn a Grammy for everyone involved. Back stage at a Gorillaz concert, De La Soul member Pos (not to be confused with P.O.S.) talked about how people treated De La Soul's three-and-a-half minute performance like a 2-hour performance in terms of post-show towel etiquette. We then see De La Soul perform in front of the Gorillaz screen, as they are technically not part of the fictional band.
