Garage-pop is probably not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Oxford, Mississippi, but maybe ILLLS can change all that. The duo recently released a video for its single, “Teeth,” and just released a second track, “Goods.” both tunes come off the band’s upcoming debut EP, Dark Paradise, via London’s Sounds of Sweet Nothing.

“Goods,” is an infectious pop track. Drum machines, bouyant guitar riffs and smooth vocals reel you in, and charmingly out of tune synths and fuzzy, distorted chords make you want to keep listening. The interesting thing about this troupe is its ability to juxtapose pop sensibility and messy, raucous noise rock so seamlessly. Listen to “Goods” below.
