Goldfrapp: Little Bird (Animal Collective Remix) (MP3)

This remix of “Little Bird,” from Goldfrapp’s Seventh Tree, couples Alison Goldfrapp’s melancholic vocals with Animal Collective’s familiar electronic percussion swells. The result: not too shabby.

The remix follows the crescendo of the original pretty closely, and the song sounds more desolate thanks to the clamor of AC’s production.

The remix is featured on the Caravan Girl digital EP, which is out today via Mute. [Stereogum]
