Golden Bug: "Lord of Pleasure" (MP3)

That Golden Bug's "Lord of Pleasure" is such a building, irresistible disco cut should come as no surprise. However, the decision by Bang Gang 12 Inches to bury it as a bonus track on the "Assassin" EP proves that the label's current wealth of riches is just embarrassing. Whereas the 2008 Hot Robot LP had a distinctly electro feel, "Lords of Pleasure" has enough delay-drenched vocals to masquerade as chillwave, even as it suggests that the dancefloor is taking a distinct turn towards the funky.
