“Go Outside” (Video)

How much mileage can Cults get out of “Go Outside,” their spectacular debut track? Well, looks like at least a little bit more. The song, which samples former cult leader Jim Jones, now has an official video after a year and a half of being out in the world. Appropriately, it mixes footage of Jones and his congregation with retro-styled video of the track being performed. It fits all aspects of the precocious/disconcerting dichotomy that Cults has attempted to cultivate, and it gives you another reason to listen to the girl group melodies and 60s groove of “Go Outside.” Not bad.
