In terms of stories about live covers, I don't think you can get much more massive than this: in recent performances, Gnarls Barkley has been covering Radiohead.At a small set at London's Astoria 2 venue, Gnarls Barkley gave a solid performance from both albums—and yes, they played "Crazy," but only out of "contractual obligations." The real news, however, came in the encore, where the band covered Radiohead's "Reckoner" off of In Rainbows. This came after a video of Gnarls performing the song at the Roskilde Fest made its way to YouTube.

"Reckoner" is certainly one of the lighter tracks that one could choose for a Radhiohead cover. But the vocals, high even for Thom Yorke, actually are suited perfectly for Cee-Lo's falsetto. Sooner or later, we'll all be able to see what it sounded like in a smaller venue. The London concert was recorded for an upcoming DVD release. [Gigwise]
