Glazin’ (MP3)

Warped, exuberant melodies built from discarded circuit boards and broken tree branches vaguely characterize this brand new Black Dice track, plucked from the upcoming full-length REPO. As foreign as their sonic palette always is, those familiar with the Dice may be reminded by "Glazin’" of certain selections from Eric Copeland’s solo LP Hermaphrodite, or of an idea that began to form on last years odds and ends collection Load Blown. The only thing that is really familiar though is the sense that Black Dice have of conveying both cure and malady inside of simple, rhythmic melodies.
