Scottish rockers Glasvegas are still relentlessly touring their debut album, and have a batch of North American dates coming up in June and August. They’ve also been doing the talk show rounds, and here they perform two tracks—“Geraldine” and “Daddy’s Gone”—for Carson Daly’s show.
Glasvegas’ incredibly quick rise to fame has caused them to headline the prestigious NME Awards Tour and has led to an invite to open for U2 at a huge Dublin show in July. Their vast, expansive rock should make a lot of sense out in the wide-open spaces of stadiums and festivals, and their music bears more than a few similarities to past Scottish rock bands such as Big Country and Simple Minds.
