Perhaps surprisingly, Glass Candy isn't a band that gets remixed very often, so if you're ever given the privilege you know it's time to step up; and there aren't many producers who are more fit to do the walking than Johan Agebjörn, one half of Swedish disco outfit Sally Shapiro. You might expect Agebjörn to turn on some bright, sugar italo like he does with Sally Shapiro, but instead he just obscures the icy original in even more...ice. Under his guiding hand, a droning, monotonous synth overlays the track's elements, and the alluring, ominous original (which itself is a cover of a Dark Day track) really brings out the "death" in disco.
