After announcing the single just yesterday, San Francisco's Girls are already sharing a stream of "Lawrence." There's a good reason for it, though. Frontman Christopher Owens wrote the track back in 2008 as a sort of tribute to Felt, Denim, and Go-Kart Mozart leader Lawrence Hayward.
With that in mind, you can imagine that he would want as many people to hear it as humanly possible. Not only that, but it's being pressed as a limited, 1,000-run heard-shaped vinyl, which means not too many folks will be able to own a phsyical copy. Sure, it's being released digitally, too, on Dec. 6, but we all know vinyl>digital. Anyway, you can stream the majestic and mostly instrumental "Lawrence" below.
