Girls: Hellhole Ratrace (MP3)

Girls is a duo of boys who write songs heavily doped with love-sickness and du-wop swagger. These songs that make up the Hellhole Ratrace 10” leaked in March, and True Panther Sounds has made final remixed and remastered versions free today. Scope the LP’s artwork,  which features russet roses, socks worn with sandals, and guys on their beds looking pensive with guitars. These songs hit like a whiff of gardenia, or, as they intend, like “a Beach Boys song out of an old car speaker," —and right in time for Girls’ summer tour.  [Gorilla Vs. Bear]
