Ghostface: "Together Baby"
Ghostface isn't calling his new album Apollo Kids for nothing; the first single from the album, "Together Baby" has a distinct Supreme Clientele-vibe. It's got a soul sample, a hook that basically just interrupts his verses, a Wu-Tang thing that no one else really does anymore. Those guys hate hooks something terrible. But that's our benefit, because "Together Baby" is some vintage abstracting Ghost, who wilds out on something called the "Jimmy Neutron," baby. I don't know about you, but Apollo Kids just hopped up on my most-anticipated list. Listen at Def Jam.
Apollo Kids is due out on Dec. 14.
