Ghostface Killah: "In Tha Park" f. Black Thought
I know I sort of lost my cool yesterday when I posted Ghostface Killah's "Troublemakers," which was the first in a series of Apollo Kids leaks. I calmed down a bit for a little while but then I got the chance to hear the entire album, which is due out this Tuesday. And while it's not as if Apollo Kids is a life-changing project, but it's definitely worthy of promotion. Like fellow Prefix writer Craig Jenkins told me, though: Expecting Def Jam to do right in 2010 = pure comedy. But I can't help being frustrated, especially when hearing Ghost and Black Thought spit on the grimy-as-hell "In Tha Park," which you can listen to at Nah Right.
Apollo Kids is due out Dec. 21.
