For the second single from her recently digitally released VWETO album, Georgia Anne Muldrow has chosen the funky, disco-inspired "Zulu Bounce." This is the kind of music I would play nonstop if I could b-boy, do the robot better, or basically do more than nod my head to a beat. The track features Muldrow layering '80s sounds on top of one another, from the drum machine snares and kicks to the various synthesizers and strings. While "Zulu Bounce" admittedly gets a little repetitive by the second chorus section, it's still a refreshing take on the style that basically only Dam-Funk has ran with over the past few years.
