Georgia Anne Muldrow: "f0nkRocker"
Georgia Anne Muldrow's name might be familiar to you if you are either a fan of her ever-expanding body of catalog, which seems to grow every few months, or her production for artists such as Mos Def and Erykah Badu. Here, Muldrow is continuing to build that impressive solo resume with a fully instrumental release, VWETO, that showcases her killer musicianship. The album's latest leak, "f0nkRocker," could not have a better title as it oozes funk and rock from its core of wailing guitars, rich bass lines, and burbling synthesizers. I'm hoping this track ends up with vocals on it at some point, which seems likely with its verse-chorus-verse structure.
