When we previously heard from up-and-coming Minneapolis rapper MaLLy, he was spitting wintry bars alongside touring partners Slug, Big Quarters, and Kill the Vultures on “Somebody, MN.” But on MaLLy’s latest track — the appropriately titled “Future’s Classic” — the spotlight remains solely on his fiery, bravado-laced rhymes. The wordplay-heavy, straight-for-the-gut verses are accompanied by triumphant drums and guitars courtesy of Miami producer Rem’, who’s also sounding like a cat we’ve got to keep our eye on.
You can stream and download “Future’s Classic” below and start crossing your fingers for a new full-length release from MaLLy. We certainly hope he’s got one in the works. Artwork by Keith Williams.
