Fucked Up: "The Other Shoe"
Fucked Up are doing what every progressive band gets around to eventually: They are preparing to release a rock opera called David Comes to Life, an album with a lighbulb worker as the protagonist, and 78-minutes long. It'll probably be crazy in context, but out of context, the new single, "The Other Shoe," is a rocker: Fucked Up aren't going Jethro Tull here. This song still stomps ass, and it's a welcome return for the new reigning kings of hardcore. You can download the song at Matador.
David Comes to Life is due out on June 7.
