The Philistines Jr. have been a bit of a cult band, making quirky, eclectic music out of their Connecticut home base since 1990. This year, a remix record appropriately titled If A Band Plays in the Woods...? will be coming out, featuring songs from the likes of the National, Mercury Rev, Mates of State, and the Scotsman of Frightened Rabbit. Peter Katis of Philistines Jr. produced the last two FR records, so hey, that works.
