It's an even more extended Philadelphia-Seattle connection here as Jake One laces the beat for the latest leak from his forthcoming second album with Freeway, Diamond in the Ruff. And joining the bearded MC in the booth is frequent collaborator and fellow State Property cohort Peedi Crakk. The two Philly rappers go back and forth, old-school style, over one of Jake One's more pop-friendly beats. I can definitely see this one catching on with the radio crowd and getting plenty of plays this winter, though I almost wish it was saved for a summer release. Listen to this and try to tell me this doesn't make you want to cruise with the windows down and volume up.
