Freeway: "Rain Dance" f. J. Nicholas
After doing his more underground-leaning thing last year with Jake One on The Stimulus Package, it's sounding like Freeway is looking to gain some mainstream attention. At least, that's the message I'm getting from his latest track, "Rain Dance," which stems from his forthcoming Diamond In The Ruff. But just because the beat and hook are extremely catchy and radio-friendly doesn't mean Free's let up lyrically. He attacks this beat with the same tenacity we have heard from him as of late while even switching up his flow in the last verse. The only thing he needs to ditch is that awful intro.
