Although it's not clear when it will be released, Freeway's Diamond in the Ruff continues getting promoted here with some visuals for "Escalators." Like all of the tracks off his solid early 2010 effort, The Stimulus Package, this cut is produced by Jake One. Also like those tracks, "Escalators" is a combination of soulful and street-wise as Jake laces a soothing, yet gritty beat for the Philly Freezer to get all grizzled and introspective over. It's one of the more inspirational tracks heard from Free in a minute, though he's certainly no stranger to the more positive side of hip-hop.

Damn, this track is sick. I'm not really a fan of Freeway's flow but that chorus, beat and Biggie sample is undeniable...you gotta love it.
