Carson Daly's reputation as the second most hip-hop friendly late night host (Jimmy Fallon is #1) continued last night when he aired a performance by Freddie Gibbs on his show. Gangsta Gibbs has come a long way since his days of just rapping to MP3s of his tracks; he's backed up by a full band here, which lends a jazzy mood to "The Ghetto" and "Live By the Game." Gibbs will be at SXSW this year, and he has plans to release a full-length as well.
