I honestly only heard Britney Spears' "Womanizer" once, so I can't definitively say that Franz Ferdinand are faithful during their cover of the song on BBC's Radio 1 yesterday, but from what I recall, they're pretty dead on. They give the song their funky dance-punk touch, and when the guitars come in near the end, it was a pretty cool moment. I'm not sure what prompted Franz to do the cover, but among the pop songs that were hits recently, this is probably the one that suits them the best. That or something by Miley Cyrus (kidding). Britney's version is already pretty cool, but this is fun too.
I didn't like how it sounded at the start of the song, but I liked it by the end.
this song is so sticky. i couldn't keep but thinking of her version. i hate it.

If I were going to go with "Womanizer" covers, I like Lily Allen's better.
