Frank Nitt, Madlib: "What Can U Tell Me" f. MED

Madlib's ninth Medicine Show release isn't just breaking the chronological order previously established by his ongoing series. It's also the most straightforward of them all, according to his label, Stones Throw. "We make no bones about it:  one MC, one producer, and a rap record all about stunts, blunts and hip-hop." We can dig it.

Madlib Medicine Show #9: Channel 85 Presents Nittyville pairs up the West Coast producer with Detroit-based rapper Frank Nitt, who you may know as one half of Frank n Dank. He's joined on the 14-track affair by Stones Throw regulars, such as Guilty Simpson, Madlib's brother Oh No, and MED. The latter appears on the album's first leak, the erratic, super-blunted "What Can U Tell Me."
