It was only last week that Foo Fighters appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show, but here they are again, this time bringing former Husker Du/Sugar singer Bob Mould along for the ride. It’s undeniable that Dave Grohl’s group owes a sizable debt to Mould’s past work, so it’s neat to see the two exchanging riffs and singing like their lives depend on it here. It’s too bad they didn’t take this opportunity to blast through a classic Huskers track, but Foo Fighters have a new album to promote, so the Wasting Light track “Dear Rosemary” made the cut.
