Foals have a new album due titled Total Life Forever, and they’re slowly releasing tracks from it ahead of the proposed early May release. Director Dave Ma shot this clip for “This Orient,” which will be released as a single ahead of the full-length record, and features lots of birds, trees and shots of the sky. Clearly Foals are getting back to nature.
“It was, I think, the smoothest and least stressful shoot that we've been involved in so far,” said singer Yannis Philippakis. The track is definitely a step toward more commercial pastures in comparison to the Antidotes album, and it will be interesting to see how the band’s fanbase reacts to them encroaching on such territory.
