Flying Lotus: "Los Angeles" (Video)

The video for Flying Lotus' "Los Angeles," from the album of the same name , is a hodge-podge of a bunch of important scenes from famous science fiction films (like the "Luke, I am your father" scene from Empire Strikes Back , the apes and the computer going nutty in 2001 , and shots of Los Angeles in Blade Runner ), which, needless to say, is pretty awesome. The song floats underneath the scenes like some doomy bellwether, and the song actually sounds like it could have been used as soundtrack cuts for some of the images. [ Pitchfork ]
