Even though he's a one man show and he sticks to his laptop and other machinery, Flying Lotus still puts on an energetic, engrossing performance. As such, it's always entertaining to catch live footage from one of his sets. Most recently, he played a gig last Friday night at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor following a stint at the Ann Arbor Film Festival. And he apparently wanted to get the world ready for his upcoming tour with Thom Yorke's Atoms for Peace group. During his set, Flying Lotus launched into a mix of Radiohead's "Idioteque," which caused the crowd (and FlyLo) to go wild. Now if only those concert tickets weren't so damn expensive (and sold out).
Flying Lotus's Cosmogramma drops May 4.

Nice on-the-fly remix. For that one Friday, Ann Arbor felt like the epicenter of cool. Flying Lotus already had some connections to the town, though -- Samiyam is from there. Ghostly, too.
