Flying Lotus: "...And the World Laughs With You" (ft. Thom Yorke)

The hype has been slowly growing for Cosmogramma, the new album from increasingly ubiquitous experimental hip-hop producer Flying Lotus. Additionally, ever since the track list dropped, people have been wondering what the collaboration between FlyLo and Radiohead's Thom Yorke would sound like. "...And the World Laughs With You" answers that question. Space-age synths swirl in a futuristic psychedelia over the track's first half like Burning Man on the moon. Yorke's vocals crop up over the second half, as FlyLo does his best Kid A through oppressive and dense dance figures and spiderweb melodies. Between this and "Computer Face//Pure Being,"Cosmogramma, the follow up to 2008's Los Angeles, is shaping up very nicely. The full length drops on Warp come May 4. Check out the track here.
