This cover of Mystery Jets' Flakes by Florence and The Machine is essentially a note by note retread of the original track with singer Florence Welch's lady voice instead of Mystery Jet Blaine Harrison. Fortunately, a little bit of lady voice is always welcome in these ears, cause Florence and The Machine's take manages to give the track a sultry, hurt quality that the original doesn't possess. Florence and the Machine is kind of a bigger deal in the UK, being signed to Island Records and currently on some NME sponsored tour, it looks like she'll probably release a record sometime in the near future.
