“Cosmic Love” was the sixth single to be lifted from Florence and the Machine’s Lungs album, which shows you how hard her record label has been pushing it. All that work has paid off, with the album reaching the No. 14 slot on the Billboard 200 and hitting the No. 1 slot in Florence’s native U.K. This performance on David Letterman’s show last night (Dec. 16) should bleed a few more sales out of Lungs, although the band is likely to be on the promo treadmill for a while yet as Florence just got nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy.
