Fleet Foxes just headlined a gigantic outdoor show on the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn, and it looks like that is the kind of venue the band is going to be playing for the foreseeable future. There was a chance to see them in a more intimate setting on David Letterman’s show last night (Sept. 26), with this version of “Grown Ocean” from Helplessness Blues. The group’s NPR-friendly take on folk is probably better suited to spaces like this than those cavernous outdoor arenas, so savor this chance to see them in relatively tight confines while it lasts.
