Fleet Foxes: "Bedouin Dress"

After three years of keeping their new music under wraps, Fleet Foxes have let loose two singles in the last week: First was "Battery Kinzie," and now comes "Bedouin Dress," a rustic, traditional-sounding folk song that sounds partially scored by the Deadwood soundtrack. There was something so subversive about this band when they came out in 2008--a group of youngsters acting like no music happened since 1963--but it remains to be seen if they hold on to the indie stardom they had back then. You can listen to "Bedouin Dress" at Stereogum.

Helplessness Blues is due out on May 3 via Sub Pop.
