“Find Your Love”

April 29 Update: Drake’s second Thank Me Later single finally leaked earlier this morning and, well, it’s absolutely a change of pace from what we have heard from the Toronto MC/singer before. He’s backed by a beat that sounds right off Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreak, which makes sense considering West produced “Find Your Love.” Drake essentially ditches any semblance of rapping on here and sticks to singing. The results are, if nothing else, intriguing and slightly unexpected. I can’t help but think that all of Thank Me Later might mimic what we heard on his 2009 So Far Gone mixtape, which was a combination of straightforward rapping and R&B crooning.

Thank Me Later is due out June 15, barring any more delays.

April 14 Update: “Find Your Love” is the second single off Drake’s upcoming debut album Thank Me Later. Canada’s biggest hip-hop star was in Kingston, Jamaica filming the video for the song.

Anthony Mandler, who directed Drake’s previous video “Over,” is once again at the helm. Thank Me Later is currently scheduled for release on June 15 on Cash Money/Young Money/Universal Motown.

We’ll be updating this post with the audio for “Find Your Love” once it becomes available online. [Rap-Up]
