You know it's a topsy turvy world we live in when you can count on a remix by Fuck Buttons to make a track sound more conventional. However, when the original song in question is by The Knife's Karin Dreijer Andersson, that outcome makes a lot more sense. The duo takes the icy, bloodless, desperate original and adds a bass drum and a synth to make it not so...soul rending. Fever Ray's debut is out on CD/LP on March 24 from Mute, and Jan. 13 for download.
